18 ignition circuits can be connected to the ignition unit. For each ignition circuit, an LED indicates whether the ignition circuit is closed. The backlit buttons are flame-retardant and completely sealed so that neither dust nor moisture can get inside. The system board itself is covered with another dirt-repellent protective layer. Matching cases are available separately on request.

Multi-channel
Each ignition module can be set to any channel from 00 to 99 using the CH+ or CH- buttons. This means that 100 different channels can be controlled directly with the remote control. Several ignition modules can also be set to the same channel so that, for example, fireworks can be set off at 3 different locations at the same time.

Power supply and energy-saving functions - various options.
The standard version of the 18M ignition module requires 3 9V batteries (PP3). One battery supplies the electronics. The other two are only for the ignition energy of the ignition circuits. This ensures that the ignition energy is always fully available, even if the system has been switched on for a long time. If the remote control is switched off, the 18M ignition module automatically goes into a power-saving mode. When the remote control is switched on again, the ignition modules also wake up. Ideal if you want to install the ignition modules many hours before the show.

Optional:

The standard version requires 3 9V batteries. Optionally, the 18M can be supplied with an additional internal LiPo battery (lithium ion). If you only use the internal battery, up to 10 ignitions can be fired in series or up to 8 ignitions in parallel.

Safety
The Cobra ignition system has multi-layered security elements. All wireless communication is 128-bit encrypted. Together with other security measures, this ensures that communication between the devices is secure and functions perfectly even under adverse conditions. The system checks the redundant MOSFETs every time it is switched on and switches itself off automatically in the event of a fault.
